Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Lee Jackson, and I am the Co-Founder & CEO of Carehub Coworking, LLC. I provide day-to-day leadership, operational strategy, leading physician groups and hospital recruiting, membership sales, and securing capital. I have 23 years of experience serving as a developer, investor, acquisitions manager, and asset manager of healthcare real estate.

What problem does your product/service solve?

The rising cost of healthcare delivery, including medical office space, combined with unprecedented M & A activity and value-based (outcome-based) medicine, has caused independent physicians to ask developers and landlords to create a cost-effective alternative to traditional full-time medical office space. We are answering this call through licensing Carehub® medical office coworking space to independent physicians and the hospitals that need them at a 70% to 85% savings to the cost of full-time medical office space with no out-of-pocket capital costs and no long-term contracts. Through the cost efficiencies and associated profits created by well-run medical coworking space, we can offer this solution to independent physicians while promoting collaboration and referrals between independent physicians and hospitals. This translates into better experiences and outcomes for patients in today’s value-based healthcare delivery system that rewards physicians and hospitals for working together to produce better patient outcomes, create efficiencies, and to control costs.

What are you most excited about right now?

I am excited to see how the healthcare industry has adapted to overcome obstacles caused by COVID 19. It has impressed upon me the passion of America’s healthcare professionals and their dedication to keeping us safe. I believe that this passion originates from their love of their fellow man and the freedom they have in America to run their own practices and put patients first. I am excited that Carehub® can play a small, but important role in helping physicians remain independent. We are excited to serve physicians in this way in return for all they do for us.

What’s next for you?

We are in the process of raising our 2nd round of funding to expand our corporate locations into multiple cities. Ultimately, we plan to franchise Carehub® to value-based physician groups and
hospitals.

What’s a cause you’re passionate about and why?

I am passionate about the groundbreaking work being done by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to provide clean water and sanitation to developing countries and other like-minded organizations. Water Mission (another non-profit I support), sends freshwater with first responders to people in devasted areas around the world.
